The university's name is the most fundamental way that the institution expresses itself, so it is important that our campus community understands and embraces the conventions that govern its use.
It is also important to know that our institution's name is protected under state law, and that unauthorized external organizations may not use any version of our name to imply that any product, service, or organization is connected or affiliated with, or is endorsed, favored or supported by the university.
